Posted in Daily Freshness on August 22, 2009 by noxaliasonce again, the Jordan Brand has me excited for the new hybrids…not a big fan of the AF x Jordan series, but the Jordan 4′s are my absolute favorite. Black/Varsity Red colorway makes it even favorable. these bad boys are now in stores.

now the next hybrid is currently my favorite : AJ Spiz’ike. The Black/Red colorway is set for a early 2010 release…right in time for the fall/winter fashion releases…

Apple’s New….creation.
Posted in Daily Freshness, Tech Feed on August 17, 2009 by noxaliasso, am i the only person in this universe that is weird enough to think that Steve Jobs and the government officials of Tokyo, Japan are plotting to take control of the universe ???
probably so.
but with Japan’s newfound obsession with building life like anime robot characters and Apple comming out with software everyday, it makes you peruse on the subject.
Apple’s new Tablet Mac looks like the macbook pro and the ipod touch made a love child in the backseat of a Pinto. I would still cop it though, dig ??

more info to come for all the Appleheads out there in the universe.

Photography Spotlight.
Posted in Artistic View, Daily Freshness on August 15, 2009 by noxaliasonce again, im here to put another extraordinary artist in the spotlight. His name is Sameer Abdel-khalek, the man behind fisdj.foto
after reviewing his work with The Red Carpet Society and The Lazaretto Crew, he quickly became one of my favorite photographers. i’ve asked Sameer what type of influence fuels his work, what made him want to do phototography, how long has he been a photographer, and if he had any advice for the younger artists….these are his words…
” My influences… well let’s see, the biggest influence I have when it comes to photography has to be Saad Syed of S2S Photography. I give him credit to molding my style because he was the one who took me under his wing and showed me the how tos of the professional photography scene. We had done countless portrait and wedding sessions together and work harmoniously as a team. Another influence is Sahid Limon of Limon Photography. Both he and Saad have worked with me personally and I looked up to them for advice and grabbed incite from their work. A big part of my photography that has stemmed away from both those influences is my on camera lighting. Saad tends to lean to big lighting equipment that you set up prior to an event or arrangement and but I have dug deeper into on camera flash. It has become a forte of mine and I love to manipulate the light that comes from my camera’s flash in order to create a masterpiece.
To be honest, I never was inclined to do photography. But, I must say I do come from a very creative background (graffiti, drawing, music, etc) so it’s not far fetched why I did pick it up as another venue to express myself. But I must say the biggest factor was that my father owned a very nice DSLR the Nikon D300, which I currently use for my professional work, and Saad being a very close friend of mine since childhood encouraged me to pick it up and start playing with it. So after much convincing I decided to go over his place and learn how to use a camera and learn the mechanics behind it. And surprisingly enough I caught on very quickly and began developing my own style right away.
Ive been doing professional photography for almost a year now. By November It will be a year.
[and the ] Advice for new photographers… Well, anyone can be a photographer. I truly believe it is an art form and a way to express oneself. If you are looking to get into the professional photography business definitely understand the basic functions of a camera like what is an f/ stop, what does the shutter speed control, and what is ISO? Those are probably the 3 most basic and vital controls on a camera. After you get that down you can begin to really play with the camera and have fun. Don’t be shy at your take on photography no matter what anyone says, because at the end of the day its you. Of course your material will have appeal to the masses, but you can always create distinct styles within your work that no else has. I encourage to experiment as much as you can with the camera but always have some one critique your work. Someone who knows what their talking about. A good place to go and look for advice is www.fredmiranda.com. Before you go posting anything, read already made threads, look at the photographers work, and reflect on what you see. I hope this reaches out to you aspiring photographers in the best of manners =) good luck
I want to thank guywithoutanickname blog for their support and outreach.
